In 2018, I chose to re-design my Baritone model, so I completely started over and came up with something I really liked. So much so, that I chose one for my personal instrument... something I had not done in 70 completed instruments. This is it; previously known as 'Mine'. And then my brother Joe died unexpectedly and sudden. I packed up and went back to where we grew up, the very Northern peninsula of Ohio, right on Lake Erie, known as Point Place, The Best Place, Any Place. It's not nearly as glamorous as it seems, steaming or freezing as it does out on the lake, but the people are good hearted and honest, the true backbone of America. I put up a sign at Joey's wake that said I wanted everyone that attended to share a good thought of my brother, and to sign my newly renamed uke..."Pappa Joe". The love they shared that day will be remembered for a long, long time. My best to his surviving relatives, both on our side, and his wife Connie's, her son Bill's... alll the guys at Toledo Tattoo, everyone who couldn't come because the hall was only available at an odd time. His memory still lives! Mahalos.
So This is my new Baritone Model BR-3 ( Full Body) or BR-4 with a cutaway as in Chiluba. Have had a lot of really positive comments on this instrument, even before it became covered in Love
